Parking is charged extra per day, which is common for the area. Buffet-style breakfast (for a fee) is available in the ninth-floor dining room and includes made-to-order omelettes. Other amenities include a fitness room with a variety of machines (though it's a bit small in size), as well as laundry facilities. Other dining options at the hotel include a seasonal beach shack with burgers and seafood. There's also a bar here that serves drinks and casual fare like burgers and pizza. The hotel offers several other fun features, including a large entertainment center with a 20-lane bowling alley and a game room with pool tables and arcade games.

There's also an indoor pool with hot tubs and a lazy river feature, plus there's a seasonal outdoor lazy river. The pool decks are lined with striped loungers and overlook the beach beyond, and there's a poolside bar serving drinks and snacks. The hotel has several pools, including three outdoor options - one of which is a kids' pool with a pirate boat and other play features. The only reason I gave 2 stars because of 1 is because of the beach front location.Features are mostly focused on entertaining kids. Otherwise, this place would really make me hate Myrtel Beach. Luckily the location and other things to do outside of the hotel was a plus. We even sat through one of those time share presentations and was laughed at by the manager who was trying to sell us the time share, for staying at Captains Quarters. So I called to question why his room was less money but larger and was told that was the special at the time! What? We booked at exactly the same time! The only difference was he upgraded a few days prior to arrival. My brother upgraded his room to an efficiency a few days before our trip and spent $1300. We spent a total of $1675.67 for a junior suite that was small and outdated. fridge in room completely frozen and ruined all of our food. don't wait on someone to clean your room. Hecklers in the lobby to push a time share demo on you. Good luck finding a cart for your luggage. Paying for parking even if your not in the garage. Cloudy pools (dirty by lunch time and no one around keeping up with the maintenance on them) I was skeptical to start with booking at this resort because of the mixed reviews but my sister n law really wanted to book the place so I said ok.
